Esports production, marketing, and talent management firm eGency Global and Southern Methodist University Guildhall have announced that Dallas Fuel and Team Envy are coming on board as partners for OP Dallas for its first event this autumn.
Fans at OP Live Dallas will have the chance to meet with Dallas Fuel's head coach Aaron 'Aero' Atkins, general manager Mat 'TazMo' Taylor, and Envy's owner Mike 'Hastr0' Rufail, with Dallas Fuel and Envy staff available for autographs, coaching sessions, education, and more.
Geoff Moore, President and COO of Envy Gaming, said: "The most important thing we can do as an esports organization is build a relationship with our fans. We want to be a pioneer in this effort and are excited to partner with like-minded organisations that support the growth of esports."
"As the only hometown esports team in Dallas, we'll be looking for more and more opportunities to provide entertaining experiences to the local fan base in both the physical and digital realms. Signing on as a partner with OP Live Dallas is a great first step for us, as the Dallas Fuel prepare for season two in the Overwatch League and more and more of our competitive Team Envy teams become based here in DFW."
