Cuphead reaches 3 million copies sold

Cuphead took a while to develop, but ultimately its success proves that it was worth the extra development time, and frankly, handcrafting a game this must take time. Studio MDHR was quick to announce following the game's release last year, that they'd sold a million copies, and since then the sales have continued along a solid pace.

The developer has announced through their blog, that Cuphead has now officially sold three million copies. That's before the release of their upcoming DLC, The Delicious Last Course, so we're sure to see that number climb even more.

It's hard for us to express just how appreciative we are to everyone who has played and enjoyed our niche little run & gun game with the wacky rubber-hose characters."
