Cuphead being ported to Tesla cars

After coming to Nintendo Switch this year, there's another platform being added to the list, as revealed by CEO Elon Musk.

Despite its pretty intimidating difficulty, Studio MDHR's Cuphead was a great success when it first launched on PC and Xbox One, even resulting in a Nintendo Switch port in April this year, although the next destination for the game is a little more... unconventional.

It was actually Telsa CEO Elon Musk who revealed that we can expect to see the game in certain cars, as he said on the Ride the Lightning podcast that it's coming to Model 3, Model S, and Model X vehicles.

What exactly does that mean though? Well, this is a "super, super clean" version with regards to frame-rate, and can be played on the screens of these vehicles using a USB controller (the touchscreen controls won't work with this).

"When Tesla reached out to us to bring Cuphead to their vehicles, we were thrilled," MDHR's Maja Moldenhauer said to IGN. "Finding out that Mr. Musk was a fan of our game was extremely humbling and getting a chance to work with such an innovative company has been really exciting. We hope Cuphead can add some classic fun to such forward-thinking vehicles."

Due to storage limitations, this version will only feature the Inkwell Isle One, but it's still rather impressive. Would you play in a Tesla?

"One can't help but be thankful for the one-time purchase price, because if this was coin operated we'd be broke by now."
