Creative Assembly is working on a new "tactical FPS IP"

While Creative Assembly is widely known for its stellar work on the iconic Total War series, it has worked on games outside of its strategy wheelhouse (so to speak) once or twice before, with the brilliant Alien: Isolation the most recent example of this. The first-person adventure was a big departure from the studio's usual real-time strategy style, but it proved to be a successful endeavour.

That being the case it makes sense that it looks like the studio is planning on doing something first-person once again. What's more, it sounds like it's going to be a new IP.

According to a new job listing on the company's website, they're building a team to work on a "brand new tactical FPS IP". Unfortunately, no other details are offered, but a brand new IP sounds refreshing, and the studio has proved that it has the skills to mix it with the rest when it comes to first-person adventures.
