Counter-Strike 2 is coming to the Esports World Cup

The Esports World Cup has confirmed that both Counter-Strike 2 and StarCraft II will be in attendance as title's offering major tournaments at the esports festival set to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia later this year.

For Counter-Strike, this will come in the form of a major event that will see teams who win and perform well at the upcoming IEM Cologne and IEM Katowice getting invited to compete.

As for StarCraft, this will be the actual World Championship event for the esports circuit, with the best players in the world competing for glory and a slice of the mega prize pool.

The actual dates for the Esports World Cup have yet to be confirmed, but we do know that it will be sometime in the summer.
