Northgard has already been released on PC to give those users a taste of the RTS game, but when we talked with Shiro Games' head of publishing Adrien Briatta at Gamescom, we talked a bit more about the upcoming console version.
"We completely [rethought] the way the user was interacting with the units, with its environments," he explained. "You don't have a cursor anymore. We added almost everything into what we call a dynamic wheel. It's basically... it recreates the thinking of the player with the mouse and the way it directs."
"After a game or so it's just starting to be really intuitive and really automatic."
You can hear more about the game itself if you're interested in the full interview below. Will you try the game on consoles?
