Commander Video is back, Runner 3 announced

It was actually a full seven years ago that we first met Commander Video, the tiny, yet so very stylish, main character from the Bit.Trip series. Now he's getting ready for his return as Choice Provisions has announced a new game in the series, Runner 3.
Nothing much is known other that it will star Commander Video once again (who obviously survived the cinnamon challenge according to the recently launched game site) and launch sometime next year. From the teaser trailer below, we can also safely assume that we can expect more catchy chip tunes, and probably some running.
