Codemasters just revealed its next racer during Paris Games Week, with the studio's upcoming title Onrush on display during Sony's press event in France. The game looks very over-the-top, with bright and colourful cars, bikes, and buggies racing around acrobatics-inducing tracks, complete with Trials-like stunts.

Check out the trailer, and let us know what you think in the comments below. We'll update you if and when we get more details regards additional platforms and launch details beyond the "summer 2018" confirmed in the debut trailer.

Update: We just received the official press release from Codemasters confirming that the game will also see release on Xbox One. Deep Silver are pegged as publishing partners. The game is being developed by Codemasters new studio in Cheshire, a team formerly known as Evolution Studios and via press release game director, Paul Rustchynsky said:

"We are extremely excited to finally be able to talk about Onrush. The team grew up playing iconic, arcade racing games so it is great to have the opportunity to re-imagine those experiences on today's consoles and bring something fresh to the market. We believe that it is something that gamers are crying out for."

"The most important factor in the game is that it has to be fun. It is not about tire choices, car setups or even racing lines; it's about edge of your seat action and taking death defying risks in order to reap the biggest rewards."
