CLG branch out into Hearthstone

Xixo, Surrender, and Hoej are all signed.

Counter Logic Gaming have announced that they have launched a Hearthstone division, and the full announcement on their website gives a greater insight into their "latest adventure."

In terms of the players signed, those are Sebastian "Xixo" Bentert, Jungsoo "Surrender" Kim, and Frederik "Hoej" Nielsen. Xixo has been ranked number one on the GosuGamers ladder, as noted on the announcement, and the three of them have plenty of successes between them, including titles in OGN Hearthstone Masters, Invitationals, and more.

"With this lineup we believe we have one of the strongest Hearthstone rosters in esports," CLG's announcement reads. "They fit right into the CLG culture as hard working players that love to have fun while playing. They came together as a team from their previous organisation and even dyed their hair in solidarity! 2017 is going to be a fun year for CLG and we are happy to kickstart the year with the addition of new members to the CLG family."

Xixo seems happy to stay with his Natus Vincere teammates as well: "After talking to a lot of esport organisations it's been clear pretty fast that CLG was the best fit. I'm super excited to keep working with my teammates Surrender and Hoej and join the CLG family. CLG provides us everything we need to practice the best we can and I'm convinced that by the end of the year we can eliminate any doubts regarding us being the best Hearthstone squad in the world."

Is this one of the best rosters in the world?
