Civilization Revolution 2 coming to iOS next week

Like a sudden lightning strike, setting a tree ablaze and teaching cavemen about fire, 2K Games has revealed that Civilization Revolution, the 2008 Civ game tailored especially for consoles, is getting a sequel. On iOS. And it's out next week.

The original Civilization Revolution was ported to iOS devices back in 2009 and apparently became a big enough success to warrant a sequel. Civilization Revolution 2 will hit the iTunes App Store on July 2nd (that's next Tuesday). 2K Games also promise an Android version further down the road, although they don't have a specific timeframe for that yet.
