PC gamers have been enjoying the first-person delights of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare for some time now, with the game's 6v6 sword-infused combat first appearing on the platform back in 2012.

Well, having sold 2 million copies on PC, Activision has struck a deal with developers Torn Banner Studios to bring the game to console, specifically to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The historically-themed combat game, which features four classes (Knight, Vanguard, Man-at-Arms and Archer), a variety of medieval-themed environments and scenarios, and a selection of different game modes, will be a digital release and is set to appear before the end of the year.
