The Halo Championship Series for 2022 is barrelling towards its conclusion with the World Championship planned for this October, but before that, later this month we have the Orlando Major to look forward to, and now following the events that transpired in Melbourne over the weekend, we know another team that will be in attendance here.

As the HCS Melbourne 2022 tournament is now over, we have a victor to report about, with this very team being Cheifs Esports Club. The team beat out Mindfreak in the finals 4-2, and took home both $20,000 in prize money and also secured its ticket to the Floridian Major in a few weeks.

Now that another team is locked in, we're just waiting for a few other slots to be filled (mostly through the Open Bracket), and then all eyes are on September 23, when the Orlando Major kicks off.
