The Chengdu Hunters Overwatch League team has announced that its head coach, Xingrui "RUI" Wang, will be stepping down from the position, and instead assuming the role of an honorary advisor. Originally joining the team back in September 2020, RUI coached the team in the past season, where they grew to become one of the most competitive rosters in the entire league.
With this management change in mind, the Hunters also used the opportunity to announce the signing of former Shanghai Dragons assistant coach, Jeong-min "Jfeel" Kim, who will now be serving on the team as the Hunters new assistant coach.
The Hunters have yet to make any announcement about who will be taking up the mantle of head coach now that RUI has stepped down, but with around four months until the OWL returns, we can probably expect to hear more about the matter soon.
