Check out the gadgets for Rainbow Six: Siege's new operators

It's been a busy week for the competitive shooter, capped off at the upcoming Six Invitational which will showcase Year Four Season One content.

In what could be mistaken as an advertisement for a new Mad Max film, Ubisoft is drumming up more hype for its upcoming season of content for Rainbow Six: Siege. The trailer, which comes just days after the announcement of the new Australian themed map, Outbreak, showcases the two new operators and their gadgets.

Attacker "Gridlock" and defender "Mozzie" add to the growing roster of operators available for multiplayer, this time with a twist from Down Under. Gridlock utilises Trax Stingers, which were designed for vehicular use but in Siege will be deployed as a way of controlling a specific area on the map. Defensive character Mozzie will be equipped with a slingshot-style Pest, to hamper electronics and any enemy intel.

To tie in with the news of Year Four Season One content coming, Ubisoft has also given the game a free weekend for users on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
