Champions Online F2P dated

Atari and Cryptic Studios have announced that Champions Online will switch over to its new free-to-play format on January 25. The new business model allows for players to purchase a premium subscription that allows them access to more content extra features, alongside premium content that can be bought separately in the C-Store, but the bulk of the game will be free-to-play and it will be interesting to see if it can gain a bit of popularity in the wake of the move.
