CDPR on Cyberpunk 2077: "We are going to make you cry"

At E3 2019 CD Projekt Red treated us to a new trailer and an appearance by Keanu Reeves while showing off more about their upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077, and during the show in LA we talked more about the game with lead quest designer Paweł Sasko.

When Lisa sat down with Sasko she talked about the Bloody Baron quest from The Witcher 3 - a quest that Sasko also designed - and asked whether we can expect to see the same heart-wrenching moments from Cyberpunk 2077 as well.

"Oh I hope so! Believe me guys, what we are doing here - we are going to make you cry, there's no other way," he told us. "Believe me, we'll do everything to just grab the player and keep them glued to the screen."

"I think there's gonna be joy, there's gonna be tears, and there's gonna be laughter, and yeah there's gonna be anger. We are going to give you all that, because this is what we are doing. Like that's one of my main goals - I wanna move the players, like they are going to feel it so hard, and we are coming for you."

We've already seen a glimpse of the emotional notes in the story already, as the trailer below shows the hero losing his friend after a shootout, an event which encourages him to muster extra power after being betrayed.
