Cave Story was released way back in 2004, and since then the Metroidvania game developed by Daisuke Amaya has been converted to a myriad of platforms.
Soon you will be able to get your hands on the enhanced Cave Story+ port when the game goes free for a week on the Epic Games Store starting from Thursday 31 August.
Cave Story+ was previously free on the Epic Games Store back in December 2020.
Replacing Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak as the storefronts weekly freebie.
It coincides with the indie classics launch on the storefront.
This will bring retro-style graphics to the title.
The free update lets you play with a friend.
