Leaked last week on several rating boards, Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood is now official, as Konami and Sony have announced that the package will release on PS4 exclusively on October 26 in digital download form only.
Castlevania Requiem scales resolution up to 4K or 1080p depending on the PS4 model, but keeps the original 4:3 aspect ratio and adds varied frames to fill the 16:9 standard. The other new feature is the addition of PSN Trophies for those who want the additional challenge, with the caveat that Platinum will be quite hard. Besides that we can also expect to see added rumble and controller speaker features.
All in all it's legendary Richter Belmont's return in two very different titles that marked his fate: one being pure 2D action, while the other adds the tasty RPG touch. Will you be getting back into these adventures next month?
