We don't blame you if you've lost faith in Deep Down by now. After all we haven't heard much about the game in a long time. That being said, if you were intrigued by the game's premise (you play as someone from the future who is teleportet to a distant past filled with dragons and mysteries), it would interest you to know that the game is not dead after all.

In fact, developer Capcom has just renewed their Deep Down patent with the US Patent and Trademark Office, and if rumours are to be believed a new release date has been set to February 11th 2017. Like before Deep Down is described as a PS4 exclusive, and if the rumors are indeed true, we can expect to learn more about the game over the course of the year.
