Infinity Ward's senior communications manager Ashton Williams seems to have some good news for fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, as a sizeable update has landed, and by that we mean that the patch notes are a "little over two pages long".

Basically, what went out earlier this week was a patch ahead of "the big update", as it's called, and Williams gives a little insight into what's included with this:

"Sharing the love with CDL: We have some fixes going into our next update that give an option to disable the spawn camera in private match, thermals can now see through smoke, and we fixed the SnD mounting glitch. (The last two are global changes). More to come!"

Full patch notes can be found here, and it seems like the feedback is being heard loud and clear, with "lots of good stuff" featured.

Ever since the latest Call of Duty game released we've been getting updates, including the 725 shotgun getting many nerfs, so don't expect the flow of updates to stop soon.

REVIEW. Written by Andreas Juul

"Does this make for a paradigm shift for first-person shooters? No, but it's nothing short of spectacular nonetheless."
