It's almost been nine years since Treyarch introduced zombies to the Call of Duty series with Call of Duty: World at War, and the concept has really taken off since then. In fact, it's become so popular that many have asked themselves why Activision hasn't made a Call of Duty game that's completely focused on zombies. That day isn't here, but it may be a lot closer than you'd think.
Last week, several retailers listed something called Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles. They claimed it would include "the original contents of Black Ops 3 and the content of Zombie Chronicles, includes 8 classic maps of Treyarch Zombies remastered and all the maps include the Gobblegum function".
The ESRB has now given us further proof of the zombie-centric expansion, as they've rated it for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. If Amazon is to believed, the expansion will be available starting June 27, but we're guessing we'll hear more sooner rather than later due to these details being revealed.
