Tim Schafer took to Kickstarter to inform backers of Broken Age that the writing for the second act of the publicly financed Broken Age is now complete.

There's still no release date as yet, and by the sounds of it, there might be some waiting involved. That said, Schafer assured backers that the developer has "a much clearer plan for the remainder of development."

This also allowed Double Fine to start working on the voice recording sessions, where Elijah Wood plays the co-protagonist, Shay. Broken Age's first act was released on Steam in January, and was generally well received by critics and gamers. You can read our thoughts here.

"What really elevates Broken Age from just a nice story with simple and proven point-and-click mechanics, is the presentation."
