Boundless gets a new Guild system in first major update

Developer Wonderstruck has announced that they've just dropped the first major Empires update for MMO game Boundless, following from the launch back in September of 2018. Among other things, this introduces a Guild system so you can meet up with friends online and head into the "winter wonderland surprise" that the press release promises.

Bi-weekly updates have been deployed since launch, and this first major update isn't the end either, as we're getting farming, content drops like the Hunter creature, and more to keep fans happy in the long run.

Guilds will let players organise settlements and resources more effectively and even grant buffs to members, so it's worth considering this if you're going to be spending a lot of your time in the MMO.
