Studio Surgical Scalpels' Boundary was at Gamescom this year, letting those in attendance see the space shooter in action, and during our time in Cologne we managed to catch up with game director Yongliang Cui (or CT, as he's also known) about the game and what it brings to the table.

"It's a shooter, but happening in space," he began. "So space shooter, yes. In this game you sort of part play as a full soldier - at the same time you're playing as an aircraft, I guess a very nimble aircraft [...] It requires some different thinkings."

"In fact, we do have some things different that you can do, since we are in space, but we tried to map [those] things into your existing control schemes. For example, maybe there is a wall in front of you and you want to jump across it or maybe just get over it, you can just press the jump key. Guess what? [...] It just makes you rise."

You can hear more on Boundary and check out some gameplay down below, mixed in with the interview. Does the concept sound good?
