Bots causing problems in CS:GO chat boxes

A loophole means they can write anything in the chat window.

As a general rule, the more people you have playing your game, the more problems some of them will be causing to other players. Valve's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive certainly has had its share of cheaters, not to mention gambling controversies.

During the past few days players have been noticing that bots are filling the game's chat box full of rubbish. The cause for this is because apparently someone has found a loophole that allows bots to write anything to a game's chat window (because of course they can).

The situation is all the more difficult as these bots can't be kicked out. These bots state their opinion towards Valve and encourage people to boycott the company until problems are fixed.

Apparently Valve is aware of the problem, according to Reddit, but to fix it... well that's another thing. They've already released a temporary fix to the bug, but a real update will have to wait until next week.

How big of an annoyance is this?
