Bots and Infernal Run land in Update 5 for Doom
Plus the final DLC pack - Bloodfall - gets a release date.
Update 5 for Doom has just landed, and it brings with it a couple of oft-requested features. The most notable of the changes is the addition of bots (available in Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch), but there's also a new multiplayer mode called Infernal Run ("a new competitive game mode where teams fight for control of the ball and score in the opponent's goal").
On top of that PvP ranks now extend to Echelon 11, and when you hit that you will unlock Doom's signature Praetor Suit. Plus new assets have been added to SnapMap.
But wait, that's not all, dear readers. Not only is there a trailer for your viewing pleasure, but there's also some news regarding the third and final DLC pack for id's demonic shooter. Bloodfall is set to land on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on December 15. Players will be able to "turn invisible as the Spectre Pinky demon" across the final three maps.
