Borderlands book looks to follow Fiona and Sasha post Tales from the Borderlands

What happened to Fiona and Sasha after the events of Tales from the Borderlands? Soon we'll know for a fact as Gearbox has teamed up with Titan Books and writer Anthony Burch (the writer of Borderlands 2) to release a book that explores exactly this question.

Known as Borderlands: Debt or Alive, this novel will see Fiona and Sasha attempting to offload the loot that they acquired after opening the Vault of the Traveler, all by heading to the billionaires playground that is Eden-5. All seems to be going well until a Mechromancer we all know and love (Gaige) shows up and makes things much more difficult.

The description for the book states, "Fiona and Sasha have struck gold. Better than gold: a limited-edition Typhon DeLeon Vaultander™ doll. This molded lump of plastic is worth more than some planets. All they've got to do is find a nerd with deep pockets and they'll be set for life. And they know just the nerd. Enter Eden-5, home to an equally bloodthirsty mix of billionaires and bandits. To survive long enough to offload the loot, Fiona and Sasha will have to use every trick in the book (plus other tricks not found in books). We're talking hijinks, lowjinks, every jinks. But just as the deal's about to go down, a certain Mechromancer crashes the party, looking to murder the collector. This is not the cushy retirement Fiona was promised."

The book will launch as a paperback novel that spans 320 pages. It will be published around the world on June 25, 2024, meaning you can enjoy more Borderlands goodness as soon as this summer.
