Borderlands 3 has gone gold

Gearbox has revealed the big news, and there's only a month to wait until players can enjoy the long-awaited sequel.

Gearbox Software has been building the anticipation for Borderlands 3's release next month slowly but surely, consistently giving us more and more information about the game over the last few months, and now we have even more good news, as the developer has tweeted the following message:

"We are pleased to announce that #Borderlands3 has gone GOLD! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this happen! We'll see you September 13th Vault Hunters!"

We know what won't be coming on September 13 though, since cross-play is landing after launch at some point, as Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford told us before the So Happy Together trailer (found below) was released.

Just recently we got an in-depth look at Zane via a trailer and a character profile though, so if you're interested in the operative class then be sure to check that out.

Will you get the game on release?

REVIEW. Written by Kieran Harris

"We found ourselves desperate to complete each side quest we encountered just to make sure we didn't miss out on any of the gags."
