Earlier this week Gearbox teased us with the reveal of a Celebration of Togetherness for Borderlands 3 yesterday, although when many asked whether this had to do with cross-play, CEO Randy Pitchford stepped in to clarify that the game would not be getting cross-play at launch.
So what was yesterday's reveal? It was actually a new trailer called So Happy Together, and there are no prizes for guessing what song underpins the whole thing. This is a pretty unique trailer even by Borderlands' standards, and it's all about working together with friends in this co-operative looter shooter.
What might be particularly useful when playing together with friends is the new ping system that's recently been revealed, allowing you to highlight enemies and loot to your pals, and if you want to see more on Borderlands 3 be sure to check out our E3 gameplay below.
Will you be playing this with friends at launch?
