Microsoft's E3 2019 conference was packed to the brim with upcoming triple-A titles. Gearbox Software and 2K brought even more of the big guns with a new trailer for Borderlands 3.

The action-packed trailer focuses on the new Vault Hunters, including Moze the Gunner, Amara the Siren, Zane the Operative, and FL4K the Beastmaster. The latter character is unique in class with the ability to summon a group of ally beasties. There are plenty of returning enemies and hundreds of new weapons on show.

The fun doesn't end there, as the trailer also reveals a new expansion for Borderlands 2 which is out right now. Titled "Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary," the new DLC will pave the narrative between games, leading up to release of the third game.

If you currently own Borderlands 2 or Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, the new DLC will be available for free until July 9. After that, the price hikes up to £11.99.

Borderlands 3 is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 13, 2019.
