Yummy (and very good)

Yummy (and very good) 🇸🇪

After 16 years of forever, endless hamburger trawling at home by the stove and several hamburger trips to the US , it would be damn if my own burgers didn't turn out good. Luckily they do, if I may brag a little. It will be tastier than everything I've eaten from a restaurant in Sweden, by far. Yesterday we drove a burger house with the old men, again. Ground prime rib / entrecoté twice (coarse first, then fine) and smashed on the Norrland steel. Salt, pepper, a liiiten pinch of my mix of Chef's barbecue spice, June's BBQ and June's garlic pepper + Väddö's disgusting päckel-expensive hipster cheese (which is the best, admittedly). Served in Garant's superior Brioche Buns of course with Raising Caine sauce. Unbelievable, unreasonably good.

We all know what it's like. The games that conceptually are so incredibly inviting but then don't quite measure up. Despite superb characters, superb aesthetics, superb story or something else. In my world, there are lots of those, which despite initial disappointment and low grades, I really want to see more of, because the potential is there . Driveclub is another. Jonas and I have gathered a bunch of people in a series of articles that you can find here: Ugh! Give me more (1) / Ugh! Give me more (2)

Next Wednesday (April 2nd) it is time for Nintendo to finally show off the Switch 2 in more detail. Then we will find out everything about the console and about the launch games, and we at the editorial office are of course looking forward to that. Ahead of this, we will starting today (now) run a theme week here on the site where we write about Switch 2 expectations, dream games, favorite games for Switch, memories from the Switch generation and much more - too. There will be seven articles over nine days. The first one is published, you can find here: Go!

There she sleeps, in her quilted jacket

There she sleeps, in her quilted jacket 🇸🇪

She will be 13 this year, little Ginky. The world's kindest Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is just as afraid of a scouring stick as of the vacuum cleaner, who prefers to just be scratched behind the ears, fed with oven-baked chicken fillet and sleep in bed, wearing his winter jacket. When she had problems with peeing a year ago (a kind of incontinence) we sawed open the balcony door and screwed in a dog door and when she now goes in and out as she wants at night, we wear a quilted jacket so that she won't get cold. Because that's what you become when you're this old, apparently. Super frozen.

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. I don't think I'm exaggerating if I say that I've played the Intervals album Circadian (2020) 200 times in the last three months. Least. It goes one-by-one, as my dear grandmother used to say. When I work = Repeat. When I'm at the gym in my headphones (Sennheiser Momentum 4 or Dyson Ontrac, usually rev a little) = one ride per session. When I wet sand clear coat = Repeat. Ever since the 80's I have had periods where I only listen to instrumental music and I have since 1991 always loved prog metal, and now it is really a combination period where instrumental prog metal with a focus on strong melodies and brutal guitar playing - fits the very best. Let's go Lock & Key!
