Oh, how bad this has started. I was a bit excited about the new Madness (Netflix) because I like conspiracy thrillers like Hunted (one of my favorite movies). In the trailers, it looked a bit like a reinterpretation of The Fugitive, with all that it entails: A well-known TV anchor at CNN is innocently accused of a dismemberment, hunted and while he is being hunted by police and murderers, he tries to clear himself. Simple. Effectively. Good, if done right. But here it is not done right. This is because the story is so convolutedly stupid, flat, blasé and the acting so pale. Avoid.
