Blizzard Entertainment's college esports network Tespa has revealed its full lineup of esports events for 2018, including Heroes of the Storm's collegiate competition Heroes of the Dorm, and as a whole Tespa is set to award over $1 million USD in college scholarships and prizing by the end of the academic year.

Heroes of the Dorm, first of all, will feature regional play for the first time this year, which means that there will be regional winners who get placed into the National Championship of 64 teams, alongside the top teams on the national leaderboard. Winners of this competition will receive scholarships for their entire college career, meaning there's more than $500,000 available in this competition alone. There'll even be an original series produced by Raycom, highlighting the competition as well as team and player stories.

"With intense student competition and an epic tournament bracket featuring schools across the United States and Canada, Heroes of the Dorm showcases the kind of excitement that can only come from college esports," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We look forward to cheering on all of the talented players who will be competing in Heroes of the Storm, as well as Hearthstone and StarCraft II, for their share of Tespa's biggest scholarship prize pool ever."

The 2018 Hearthstone Collegiate Championship was also unveiled by Tespa, with $150,000 up for grabs in scholarship prizes, available for teams of three to compete in. The competition will feature a regular season of seven weeks as well as regional playoffs to reach the championship, all of which can be watched on Twitch.

A StarCraft Tespa Collegiate Series will also be running this year, awarding $35,000 in scholarship prizes, and will feature 16 teams of three that battle it out twice a week during the eight-week season, with four teams joining the competition via open qualifiers.
