Just a few days after The Witchwood expansion landed, Gamereactor talked to Blizzard's designers Mike Donais and Dave Kosak about the new cards and mechanics, during which time we asked about certain cards and decks that are raising complaints in the community, although they didn't seem too worried about it, stating that they don't want to make a lot of changes.

A few weeks later, potential changes are on the table, as Hearthstone's Senior Game Designer, August Dean "Iksar" Ayala, said openly on Reddit that they are thinking about Naga Sea Witch, Sunkeeper, Call to Arms, Baku Paladin Hero Power, Spiteful, Lackey, Gul'dan, Dark Pact, Librarian, Quest Rogue, and Doomguard.

After that, Community Manager Jesse Hill said on the official forums that feedback is looking as if it will impact the most powerful decks, but didn't get into details about what cards are involved. What he made clear is that no changes will come before the HCT (Hearthstone Championship Tour) 2018 summer playoffs that end on May 20.

"In the weeks after The Witchwood, the Hearthstone team has been avidly reading your feedback and monitoring data at all levels of play," the post reads. "We agree with your concerns, and we're planning some balance changes after the HCT Playoffs are finished at the end of May. We're not quite ready to share the details, but we'll provide an update once the specifics are finalized."

Do you think that Blizzard made mistakes in Hearthstone's The Witchwood expansion?
