Ever wondered how some players just seem to be able to aim that bit better than you when playing online games on consoles? Well, in part that might be due to them using a mouse and keyboard configuration instead of a controller. While PS4 already supports that by default, Xbox One users can use third party adaptors to use a mouse and a keyboard while playing, giving them an extra edge.

This topic has been hot on Overwatch's forums, and Blizzard has finally made a statement regarding the matter:

"The Overwatch team objects to the use of mouse and keyboard on console.

We have contacted both first-party console manufacturers and expressed our concern about the use of mouse and keyboard and input conversion devices.

We have lobbied and will continue to lobby for first-party console manufacturers to either:

Disallow mouse and keyboard and input conversion devices

OR

Openly and easily support mouse and keyboard for ALL players

I encourage you to reach out to the hardware manufacturers and express your concerns (but please do so in a productive and respectful way)."

What do you think of Blizzard's stance? Should mouse and keyboard be disabled for console gamers?
