Ubisoft and esports tournament organiser BLAST has just confirmed the host city and venue for the upcoming BLAST R6 Major. Set to see the best Rainbow Six: Siege teams in the world competing over a $750,000 prize pool, the event will take place between May 16-26, and will be hosted in Manchester, United Kingdom.

This will be one of the first major tournaments to take place with the updated competitive Rainbow Six format, and will also be the first time that the UK has ever hosted an international R6S arena event. It will be held in the city's B.E.C. Arena and will feature a three phase format with the final weekend taking place in front of a live audience.

Tickets are already on sale for the tournament and you can see an outlined schedule and format for the event below.


  • Phase 1: May 16 to May 17 - not open to public

  • Phase 2: May 19 to May 22 - not open to public

  • Phase 3: May 24 to May 26 - open to the public at the B.E.C Arena, Manchester
