On September 6 Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will get its final DLC, called Salvation, on PS4, with other platforms set to follow at a later date.

The fourth DLC will include Revelations, the conclusion of the Origins Zombies timeline. In Revelations, the characters are shown after they've journeyed through space and time and they come face to face with Doctor Monty in The House.

Speaking about the new Zombies DLC, Director of Zombies for Treyarch Jason Blundell said ""with the release of Zombies as an Easter Egg in 2008's Call of Duty: World at War, Treyarch set forth on a journey - or, really a conversation - with fans, and Revelations is the final punctuation mark".

The DLC also includes four new multiplayer maps for fans as well. These include Citadel, an abandoned ancient castle, Micro, a miniature war zone, Outlaw, a western re-imagining of Black Ops 2's Standoff, and Rupture, a high-tech re-imagining of World at War's Outskirts.

"Without a doubt, this is the most epic season of DLC that we've ever created for fans of Multiplayer and Zombies," said Treyarch's Studio Head Mark Lamia. "At this point it goes without saying, that Zombies has been a true labor of love for the studio, and I'm proud to say that this will be a defining and epic experience for the fans who have joined us over the last eight years".

Salvation is available to pre-order of PlayStation 4 at a discounted rate through the season pass which also features the three previous DLC packs. Pre-ordering also grants an exclusive Revelations theme as well.
