A player by the name of Kimochi was recently banned from Pearl Abyss' MMO Black Desert Online for killing, harassing, and provoking "innocent" players (as reads the accusations, shared on Reddit), but there was a catch - he could escape the ban by writing a backstory of Kimochi with a length of exactly 501 words.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and Kimochi accepted the challenge. The NSFW story can be read in its entirety here, after it was deleted by moderators due to its explicit nature, following the rather bizarre history of Kimochi, who is attacked by a cyclops. A deal is a deal after all, though, and Kimochi escaped the ban, with the message issued to him reading: "Despite the contentious nature, the Pantheon has acknowledged that the terms of the challenge have been met. However, Kimochi of House Dremlock, we utter this warning. Ignore it at your peril! We will watch you in the rumbling hills, We will watch you on the trade routes, We will watch you battle Bheg, We will watch you on the forums, We will watch you on Reddit, We will watch you on Calpheon 2."

Kimochi himself talked to PC Gamer about the whole situation, and it appears as if the punishment hasn't exactly worked, as Kimochi said: "Am I going to keep spamming the chat? No. Am I going to keep killing RPers? Absolutely."

Was a 501 word essay punishment enough?
