Could Bioware be about to make a crowd-pleasing reveal at The Game Awards on December 6/7? It certainly looks that way after general manager Casey Hudson hinted that something Dragon Age-related was in the works in a dev blog shared on the studio's official site.

"If you've been following these blogs, or myself and Mark Darrah on Twitter, you know we're also working on some secret Dragon Age stuff," the man from Bioware wrote yesterday. "Dragon Age is an incredibly important franchise in our studio, and we're excited to continue its legacy. Look for more on this in the coming month (though I won't tell you where to look...)"

Unless the studio plans on wrapping up the announcement and putting a Dragon Age-shaped present under our tree come December 25 all signs point to the studio making some sort of reveal at The Game Awards, as we already know that there'll be more than 10 new games at the event. Could the next Dragon Age be among them?

We can say that it's pretty unlikely that one of the reveals will be Mass Effect related, but it seems that the sci-fi series remains in Bioware's collective thoughts.

"As busy as we are with Anthem, there's a lot more going on at BioWare," Hudson wrote in the same blog. "A couple of weeks ago it was once again N7 Day. It's one of my favorite times of the year - a day when people around the world share their experiences with Mass Effect. It's so inspiring to know that there are so many fans of the series out there that are enjoying the games we've made, and hoping that we'll make more. We announced one of the things we've done recently (a 4k enhancement to Mass Effect: Andromeda on Xbox One) but as we alluded to in our N7 Day video, that was just a small part of the plans we're making for Mass Effect going forward."

Consider us intrigued.
