The folks over at Platinum Games definitely caught our attention when they seemed to tease that Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 were heading to Nintendo Switch back in July. However, months went by without any news, so our hopes started to dwindle. However, you should never give up on your dreams, folks.
Reggie Fils-Aime didn't just go to The Game Awards to celebrate that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild won Game of the Year, but also to confirm that the first two Bayonetta games are indeed coming to the Nintendo Switch. We won't have to wait too long either, as they'll arrive on February 16. The new edition of Bayonetta 2 will even come with a few extra goodies, including video capture, amiibo support, and local wireless cooperative play. But the president of Nintendo of America didn't stop there, as Reggie also unveiled the very first teaser trailer for the Switch-exclusive Bayonetta 3. The teaser isn't exactly all that enlightening, but at least we know it's coming.
