Battletoads jump onto Shovel Knight in October

The game will be available on the Windows Stores by Thursday, too.

The iconic Battletoads (if you don't know them you must be born after the 1990s) Rash, Zitz, and Pimple will make their appearance in the Treasure Trove edition of Shovel Knight, as announced by developer Yacht Club Games in a recent blog post. It's not yet known for sure when to expect the new content, although they wrote that it will arrive sometime in October.

Furthermore, Shovel Knight will release via the Windows Store this Thursday, August 24, on Windows too, providing the same as the Xbox One version of the game, including couch co-op and achievement support. Treasure Trove combines all three additional content for Shovel Knight - Shovel of Hope, Plague of Shadows and Specter of Torment, so are you excited to finally play the game on Windows 10?
