The first and second game in the Batman: Arkham series are widely regarded as being excellent (as is Batman: Arkham Knight unless you played it at launch on PC) and as such it comes as no surprise that Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios would want to release remastered versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at some point.
Today it's been revealed that this point is fairly close, as both games are included in the just announced Batman: Return to Arkham. On top of remastered versions of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, Return to Arkham will include all the DLC releaed for both titles. Virtuos are handling the point, and interestingly Unreal Engine 4 is the studio's tool of choice. Apparently that means we'll get better graphics, more detailed environments, and improvements to lighting. And best of all, the release date is set to July 29.
