Batman: Arkham Underworld, the latest release from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment, is now available on the AppStore for iPhone and iPad. The game has been developed at Turbine and builds on the Arkham series created by Rocksteady.
The game is free to play and draws upon the lore and characters from the Arkham franchise, allowing players to control Batman's enemies in PvP combat, working their way through the criminal network of Gotham to try and take control, recruiting other thugs and goons along the way.
Characters available to play as include The Riddler and Harley Quinn and players will be tasked with using them to create hideouts, recruit others, train them and battle through story missions. Batman himself may even appear depending on the size of the criminal army.
The game is set before Batman: Arkham Asylym but will feature various locations from the whole series. Also included in the game are Suicide Squad missions to coincide with the release of the film.
