Bandai Namco continues to sign smaller indie titles for publishing and the latest game to receive their support is Mojo Bones' Impact Winter that's due out digitally on PC in early 2017.

"The team here at Mojo Bones are both extremely proud and excited to partner with Bandai Namco Entertainment for the release of Impact Winter," said Stuart Ryall Co-Founder and Designer at Mojo Bones Ltd. "As gamers, we formed Mojo Bones in 2011 with the intention of using our newfound creative freedom to explore and design unique ideas and concepts. IMPACT WINTER represents the most ambitious step along our journey so far; taking inspiration from our favourite games, movies, music and literature in an attempt to build on those influences and create a one-of-a-kind survival adventure."

Impact Winter offers a distinct artstyle and an adventure where you need to make sure that Jacob Solomon and his four fellow survivors will make it through the extreme conditions over the next 30 days. A robotic helper, Ako-Light, will assist players in exploring the hostile environments and seek out solutions. The game was unsuccessful in its bid to secure financing via Kickstarter in late 2014, but it's nice to see that the project has found its way to the finish line anyway.
