Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition dated

It appears that the legal wrangling that had Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition on ice has melted away, as a release date for the game has been announced and pre-orders have been opened.

This HD reworking of the classic isometric-RPG is coming on November 15 to both PC and Mac, and includes Shadows of Amn, Throne of Bhaal, four new allies (with quests) and The Black Pits 2: Gladiators of Thay.

"We are thrilled that our partners at Beamdog have confirmed a date for the rerelease of what many people consider one of the greatest RPGs ever on PC, (Baldur's Gate II)," said Wizards of the Coasts' Nathan Stewart. "As we continue to expand our world-class storytelling on digital platforms, it is great to bring this classic to new devices and share the rich fantasy of D&D with new fans."
