Back at E3 Square Enix showed off Marvel's Avengers for the first time, the game coming from Crystal Dynamics, and fans at the San Diego Comic-Con are actually getting treated to some gameplay, even if this isn't being streamed and released to the public just yet.
As reported by IGN, though, this gameplay will be released a week after Gamescom next month, so we'll see what was shown during the Marvel Games Panel, where fans also got to see a customisation menu.
Director Shaun Escayg explained that this includes "classic, fan-favourite, and all-new outfits", and there are even new skills and gear to change how you play, including original elements not inspired by the comics. That said, you won't be able to use every hero in every mission, as some are designed specifically for certain Avengers in mind.
Speaking of heroes, Ms. Marvel was also teased in this demo, according to the report, as Kamala Khan was exposed to Terrigen during the A-Day event we saw unfold in the E3 trailer, which aligns with her origins.
A collector's edition was also confirmed at the event, which can be pre-ordered before the year is done, featuring a Captain America statue.
We were told back at E3 that this is going to be the "definitive Avengers game", so hopes are high for this title, especially since the Avengers came to a close on the big screen with Endgame mere months ago.
Are you excited to see this gameplay for yourself?
