More and more traditional sports companies and teams are entering into esports in this day and age, and now the Australian Financial Review (as brought to us by Dot Esports) has reported on the Australian Football League striking a deal with Riot Games to bring League of Legends to Melbourne for an event in November.

The deal was made on May 6, according to the report, although we don't know much else about the event, whether that be venue or anything else for that matter. Considering the AFL is huge in Australia though, it's great news for esports fans in the country, and we can hope to see more of it in the future.
