The Danish esports organisation, Astralis has announced that it has terminated its contract with Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke. As noted in a blog post, it's said that k0nfig is "going through a tough time with issues he does not want to discuss publicly" and that this is "affecting his ability to contribute to the team," as Astralis' director of sports, Kasper Hvidt stated.

K0nfig has since taken to Twitter to talk about what had happened and revealed that he was involved in a fight in Malta, where he broke his leg and injured various other parts of his body.

In the post from k0nfig, the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional talked about how since this incident, which saw him hospitalised, he has experienced night terrors, and has been in excruciating pain due to the surgery that has taken place to correct the broken leg and damaged foot.

As for what's next for k0nfig, he also mentioned that he is seeing a psychologist to help improve his mental health, and is going to "do what's needed to become the god-tier counterstrike player that I know I can be."
