Assassin's Creed Odyssey & Rebellion getting content in May
Assassin's Creed III's remaster is also getting released on the Nintendo Switch, bringing with it unique features for the console.
Ubisoft has just provided us with an update on what's happening in the Assassin's Creed universe this month, and those playing Odyssey will get the ninth episode of The Lost Tales of Greece tomorrow, called One Really, Really Bad Day.
This episode lets players discover an imposter who's trying to steal their identity and tarnish their name in Lokris, and they'll have to work out who this mysterious person is. To play this, however, you'll need to have reached Chapter 5 in the main story.
What's more is that new items will be available in store and at Oikos of the Olympians on May 21, these being the Herakles Character Pack - containing a gear set, mount, and axe - and the Hydra Naval Pack, featuring a crew theme, figurehead, and ship design.
Elsewhere there are other improvements on the way later this month with Title Update 10, including unique legendary lieutenants that scale up with the player, Anigmata Ostrakas now indicating their regions, items assigned on another loadout now being indicated with a visual hint, and reduced weekly contract objectives to make them "simpler and faster to complete."
Those who enjoy Assassin's Creed III, however, can play the remaster on the Switch as of May 21, including the same extra mechanics as other platforms. Unique features are also coming to the Switch too, including touch screen functionality, motion controls for aiming, specific UI design to adapt the HUD to different displays, and HD Rumble.
Lastly, Assassin's Creed Rebellion is also getting some love, as the Helix Rift event adds five new missions. Players can also recruit two new Heroes, and new Hero tokens in Animus Rift challenges will be available in the event as well, running from May 22 to 26.
