Assassin's Creed Odyssey DLC tweaked with an update

As you might have heard if you have been playing the Legacy of the First Blade DLC episodes for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, there was some controversy about the ending of Shadow Heritage, the second episode in the story. We won't spoil what happens and why it was controversial, but we will say that it has been changed as a result of yesterday's update, and that the patch notes contain major spoilers; you've been warned.

The key bit here is the phrase "adjusted a cutscene and tweaked some dialogue in Shadow Heritage", but that's not the only update that has landed. Those who want to try the base game with a bit of extra challenge can do so via a New Game Plus mode, for example, which requires you to complete the Family Quest Line. Once you've done that you can restart with all your progression saved.

New frames have also been added to photo mode, and accessibility options have been added to make subtitles easier to read as well. Other miscellaneous changes include increasing the player level cap to 99, adding more Mastery levels, and of course various bug fixes as you'd expect.
